ShadowStrikes Gold EA MT5 — Setup Guide
Do the general steps first (install MetaTrader 5, register your account, download the file), then follow these to get ShadowStrikes Gold EA MT5 running on an XAUUSD chart. Work on a DEMO account first.
1 · Show XAUUSD in Market Watch
Make sure the symbol XAUUSD (gold) is visible in Market Watch — right-click Market Watch and choose "Show All" if it is not.
2 · Get the EA file
Open the Library on your dashboard, choose the Gold EA MT5 tab and download the ShadowStrikes Gold EA MT5 file.
In MT5, open File → Open Data Folder, then place the file inside MQL5/Experts.
3 · Attach the EA to an XAUUSD chart
Restart MT5, open an XAUUSD chart on the M1 timeframe, and drag the EA from the Navigator panel onto the chart.
In the dialog that appears, allow algorithmic trading, then confirm. The on-chart dashboard should appear.
If it refuses to start, check the two things it verifies: the account must be a hedging account, and the license domain must be allowed under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest.
It does NOT verify that you are on a cent account — check that yourself in your broker's account details. The default settings are sized for one, and on a standard account they risk about a hundred times more per trade.
4 · Check that it is running
Within a minute your dashboard shows the account as running, and the panel on the chart shows the license status.
