Refund Policy
ShadowStrikes EA licenses are prepaid digital goods, not physical products or services rendered over time, and are generally not refunded once access is granted. This page explains what that means in practice, and the one situation where we do correct a charge.
Why plans are non-refundable
A subscription activates your license the moment it is paid — the EA becomes usable immediately, which is what the payment was for. Reversing that after the fact is not something a refund can undo.
This is exactly why the Free plan exists: it licenses a demo account with no card required, so you can run the EA and see how it behaves before spending anything. We ask that you use it — please don't buy a paid plan to find out what the demo already shows for free.
Trading losses are never refunded
ShadowStrikes EA runs a grid strategy with known, real risk. Losses from trading are yours, whether on a demo or a real account, and are never grounds for a refund of your license fee. See the Risk Disclaimer for the full explanation of how the strategy works and what can go wrong.
What already works like a partial refund
Two things already return value to you without being a formal refund request, and don't need one:
- Removing an add-on Real account slot credits the unused portion of its price back to your wallet.
- Upgrading your plan applies the eligible unused value of your current plan toward the upgrade automatically.
Billing errors
If you were charged twice for the same order, charged an amount that does not match what was shown at checkout, or an order shows as failed on your end while the gateway confirms it was paid, contact us with your order number. We investigate against our own order and payment records, and a confirmed error is corrected as wallet credit.
This is the one case where a charge is corrected after the fact — it exists to fix mistakes, not to reverse a purchase that worked as intended.
Wallet balances
Wallet balances, including any credit issued to correct a billing error, are non-refundable and cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, or transferred to another member. They can be applied toward plan purchases, renewals, upgrades, and add-on slots.
